Getting Back On Track
The sales weasel guy figures it is something we did. I tried to smooth it over because I felt so bad for Kevin. This is the same Kevin who is getting married in a little more than a week. This really is not the time to stress him out. But they just can't help it. I don't think they get it. I made everyone sit and look at our department goals together and we realized we are not in bad shape at all. But the sales guy felt threatened and he does not handle that well. He called Kevin into his office and told him a bunch of cliches and asked him if he was happy. That's right. He does that a lot. That is his management style. I read Roadiepig's diary last night and saw that he had posted one of his photographs on The Mirror Project. It is a really cool photograph. Have a look at it when you get a chance. I tried in January to post one there myself but was unsuccessful. I asked The Roadster for tips and he told me. I posted one there tonight. When I get the final confirmation I will put a link here. There have been several times recently when I wished I had my camera with me. Like on Monday when I saw the crane at the fountain at work. Maybe it’s a stork, I don't know. Maybe if I could photograph it and look it up in an Audubon book. And I really wish I had the camera this past weekend when I went to the cemetery. I finally got to talk to my sister last night. She was out of town during the beginning of the week. She got to visit with my niece and nephew. My 20 year old niece has moved in with her boyfriend. That sounds about right. Sounds like she has picked someone just like her father. Surprise, surprise. My nephew has been fired from his job for reasons that are not quite clear. He tells my sister that his old boss intends to rehire him at a different restaurant. Ok. I don't get much time with him these days. I miss my niece and nephew. Jimmy
