Class And People
As a matter of fact, there are two high school girls in the class with the rest of us adults. Every time they have to create a scene it usually involves dumping a boyfriend or, as I have seen a few times, getting in a fight with another woman over a guy. I have yet to bond with the other guys in the class. One of the guys is very funny and has been doing improv for a long time. We just can't seem to match up comedy wise. It happened in my last class. There is a point where we would just work out a scene and it would click. The other guy is Italian and is also very funny. He usually works sex into his scenes. I like him but we have not done a scene together yet. Work was really quiet today. I got a lot done. I decided this week that I would just relax and if things started going wrong I would not worry about it. Part of the hype I get caught up in is when other people get frantic. Yesterday I went to lunch with Viarum and Jamie. It took longer than normal and when we got back the other guys said the president and the sales guy was unhappy and looking for us. They didn't want us to go to lunch at the same time. I started to feel bad about it, but I just stopped. It was too stupid to worry about. Later, when we had a big meeting about it, I made a big joke of it and everybody was fine. I truly feel I am over it now. The job, I mean. I am one of those guys who works hard and tries to do my best. If something goes wrong I analyze it to see if I could have prevented it. I do this so that I won't make the same mistake next time. My problem has been that I have been believing other people when they tell me things went wrong. From their point of view things did go wrong. But in reality, everything was fine. If that makes any sense. It has been a long day. A good day, though. In spite of my bitching about my job, I really am thankful that I know so many great people. The guys I work with, my clients, my friends, the people in my class, they are all really good and interesting folks. It's going to be a good spring. Jimmy
